All slabs are processed here at the shop, no outside work from others.
They all are sawn from wood sources such as homeowners and tree services, or customer-supplied logs, no commercial harvesting of any kind. Most slabs are rough sawn 2-1/2 to 3” thick so they will finish at 1-7/8 to 2-1/2 thick. There are always exceptions. Slabs are typically flattened and sanded to an even thickness, then priced and put into inventory. Sawing and drying of your material are common here. Many logs are processed here because they have sentimental value to my customers and are respected as such.
Dimensional lumber is not kept in stock, however, it is done per customer specs for their particular needs on large enough quantities. As always, call with any questions.
