Can you flatten a slab that is wider than your jointer?

The Porter jointer handles material up to approximately 30 inches. Wider work is approached using D&L swing-blade equipment up to approximately 60 inches. Bring the dimensions of your slab and John will tell you the right approach.

No outside work from others. Every piece of wood we work with is reclaimed from local homeowners, tree services, or customer-supplied logs — never commercially harvested.

Our team flattens, planes, joins, and finishes all boards to your exact project requirements. Whether you're having us join live-edge slabs into a dining table or create wide panels for custom installations, you can count on our consistency and attention to detail. We don't keep dimensional lumber in stock, but we're happy to prepare it upon request for larger custom projects.
