They all are sawn from wood sources such as homeowners and tree services, or customer-supplied logs, no commercial harvesting of any kind.
All slabs are sawn from locally reclaimed wood sources such as homeowners, tree services, or customer-supplied logs — with no commercial harvesting of any kind.
Most slabs are rough-sawn at 2½″–3″ thick and finish at 1⅞″–2½″ thick, though there are always exceptions. Each slab is typically flattened and sanded to an even thickness, then priced and added to our inventory. Sawing and drying customer-supplied material is also a common part of our work.
Many of the logs processed here carry sentimental value for our customers — often from family properties or special trees — and we treat each one with the respect it deserves.
Dimensional lumber is not kept in stock, but it can be milled per customer specifications for large enough orders. As always, feel free to call with any questions about your project.
